Cancellations & Refunds

Transcend Hypnotherapy & Coaching often books out weeks in advance and therefore have a strict 48-hour cancellation policy.


When a booking has been made, the time allocation has been reserved specifically for you. If this appointment is cancelled last minute or the client doesn’t show up it prevents us from booking someone into that time from our waiting list. This not only affects the daily operations but other people in the community who are ready to make a change that may have gladly taken the appointment.

In the event of a no-show, or if the client has failed to cancel or rebook with a minimum of 48 hours notice, the session may be forfeited and a fee equal to 100% of the session price charged. Any balance will be applied to the credit card used for the initial deposit.


Hypnotherapy and Life Coaching, like psychology or counselling, falls under the banner of psychotherapy. It is illegal under the law to provide a guarantee of a therapeutic outcome.
Transcend commits to adhering to all ongoing education and supervisory requirements set out by the New Zealand Association of Professional Hypnotherapists (NZAPH) and Australia & New Zealand Coaching Alliance (ANZCAL), and to do their absolute best, within their experience and expertise, to achieve your desired result.


If the Client engages in or completes a session, refunds are not possible irrespective of the outcome of the sessions.


If a session(s) is cancelled and the conditions set out above are met, then a refund will be issued on the session(s) not completed and:

  • An administrative fee of 5% of the total payment received may be charged to cover transactions and processing costs from payment gateways and POS providers.

  • If a multi-session discount or any type of discount was applied to the initial payment, the discount will be adjusted in accordance with the number of sessions completed.

  • In case the programme or service is cancelled by Transcend’s initiative (not by the client’s request), then a refund will be issued on the session(s) not completed and:

    • No administrative fee will be charged.

    • If a multi-session discount was applied to the initial payment, completed sessions will retain their discounted price.
